so I got in the Christmas mood..next. my house :)
I am looking for ward this year to a more focused Christmas.. And starting some new traditions
We have a few.. some we started, some we borrowed.. I love making new ones so share your ideas :)
Santa only fills the stocking and puts canes on the trees.. this is for two reasons.. Mommy has a bad memory of what Santa bought and what Mommy bought.. and two .. Santa has a role, but a small one.. we try not to focus too much on gifts.. that can create a horrible monster
Each year I get each child an ornament..it represents a theme or something in their life.. its neat to see them over the years.. I think at this moment those, aside from pics, are my most prized possessions. we open those Christmas Eve.
We also want to rekindle and old tradition.. Christmas Eve to drive around and look at all the lights.. the Lights are one of my most favorite Christmas things

Looks like the childhood memories are starting to kick in!! I have gotten all ya'll ornaments for years!!! And we would always-still do-drive around looking at the lights!

Your blog looks great! I really love the idea of santa having a role but a small one. I think it sounds just perfect. I may use that idea.
