Multiple Coupons

"How do you use multiple coupons for an item? Do the stores let you use more than one coupon per item. Also, I have noticed that some coupons double at Kroger and some don't . How does that work?"

You can only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item. So if you buy 6 items you can use 6 coupons, not 7. Sometimes you get coupons with wording like "Get a free soda when you buy a candy bar" and you have another coupon that says save 50¢ on candy bar. You can use both coupons on your purchase. one is for the soda the other is for the candy..

Some stores allow you to combine store coupons with manufacturer coupons.. For example Walgreen's, if their ad has a coupon for .50 off Colgate and the Sunday paper has a coupon for $1 off Colgate you can use both for $1.50 off Colgate

Each store has their own policy and I will try to get as many as I can posted here for reference..
Kroger double up to .50 every day, no limit. So if you have a 40¢ coupon and it doesn't double you need to inform the cashier of the error.
