Our Van

First off I want to say that you know you have amazing kids when you take them for a 12 hr drive and there is no fighting and limited whining.. Especially considering our destination was a 16 year old van and a cheesy Burger King playground.

Also I want to say how the little blessings in life mean so much.. Our mini van, which runs on the power of God alone, made it round trip.

1994 Dodge Ram 350 LE

We left the house at 11 am.. we had a few stops to make and left town at 12. I made sandwiches on the road and we took a nice ride and went thru Hoosier Nat'l Forrest. We arrived at our destination at 4:30 or so. We were pleased with the van which was listed at $1600.. It was in great shape and extremely clean inside and out, tires alone are a good deal. Joe offered them $1500.. Then the most incredible thing happened.. the lady said, how about $1000.. WOW.. She said our family just really touched her ( she is a mom of 7, awaiting grandchild #19) Incredible.. We spent about 45 min or so chatting it up before we left.. took the kids to a little Burger King play area and then hit the road just after 6pm. Took the interstate home, via Indianapolis. We arrived home about 10:15 pm.
