
As we left Etown the sky was clear, a hint of overcast but nothing more.. the forecast called for rain and t-storms but 1/2 the time they are wrong..
Today, they were right.. we got to the Science center about 10:45 AM.. yes AM and this is what the sky looked like. we drove around the parking garage for a bit looking for a spot that wasn't there.. finally parked on the roof..the rain had let up but it was still coming down and we made a run for the elevator while lightening was crashing all around.

The rain cleared up about the time we got hungry and decided to leave the center. So we headed for the zoo.
The storm had knocked out the electricity there and as we walked over to this globe the power came on the the water started running and the globe started spinning.. it started me LOL
The turtles were HUGE, this train bridge was really cool and a must have for our own yard. This male tiger smelled teh scent of a female who was there earlier and came right up to the window..
And the Orangutan.. OMGosh! he was adorable!
I forgot what these black monkey were called but they were super adorable
Isaac LOVED the penguins.. it was so fun to watch them.. but yeah, they stink!

There were 2 Bald Eagles.. both flightless due to morons with guns
and look at these hand casts! HUGE!
