There are 4 main coupon inserts
1. Vallassis (V) aka Red Plum (RP)
2. Smart Source aka SS
3. Proctor & Gamble aka P&G

There are 4 main coupon inserts
1. Vallassis (V) aka Red Plum (RP)
2. Smart Source aka SS
3. Proctor & Gamble aka P&G
4. General Mills GM
The P&G comes out monthly.. as does the GM the others are weekly sometimes 2 different ones in one week.. ie SS1 and SS2
so you may see some of my notes say something like this
French's Mustard SS1 9/13/07
That means the coupon was in the 1st Smart source insert on Sept 13th.. pretty simple

AC - After Coupon
AR - After Rebate
Blinkies - instore smartsource coupon dispensed near product, usually from red blinking box
BOGO or B1G1F - Buy one get one free
BTFE - Box Tops for Education
Catalina - coupon dispensed at register after purchase, usually has a red border
DND - Do Not Double (the coupon is not supposed to be doubled)
Double coupon - coupon that a grocery store doubles in value
ECB - CVS Extra Care Bucks earned for purchases basically store cash
ESC Easy Saver Coupon (Walgreens Monthly Coupon Book)
ESR - EasySaver Rebate (Walgreens Monthy Rebate)so you may see some of my notes say something like this

OYNO - On your next order
Peelie - coupon that you peel off the package
POP - Proof of purchase
PP - purchase price
RR- Register Reward. Like ECBs but Walgreens
SCR - Rite Aid Single Check Rebate
Tear pad - A pad of refund forms or coupons found hanging from a store shelf or display
TMF - Try Me Free
Wine Tag - coupon, usually for $ off any meat, cheese or produce.
WYB - When You Buy
YMMV-- your manager may vary--- meaning what they will accept..
when I post sales I write the coupon source in purple.. I do not work deal scenarios due to variations in coupon values.. if you have questions with a particular deal I will be happy to work you through it.. sometimes even I get myself confused
