I have not decorated much around the house, but most of the dogs in the area are all decked out. its been quite a week
Alot of people say they wish it was Christmas every day.. not me.. I wish every day was like Christmas Eve.. all the decorations are in full swing.. the shoppers are buzzing around and the Christmas morning excitement is filling over. The little ones are anxious to hear the bells and footsteps that every child magically hears on the roof. Everyone is exceptionally friendly, happy, smiling.. you can truly feel the spirit... .. I wish everyday was like Christmas eve
I am pretty much ready to get ready for Christmas.. LOL
Some very generous elves have made their presence known..and gifts and money for gifts for the children have "magically" shown up here and there.. I have about 1/2 of everything wrapped.. I am now running slow though.. My hands have taken a beating.. I cut the tip of one finger the ohter day at work, then I ripped a thumbnail.. very short and it hurts whenever it touches something. Then, as I was working on the homemade gifts I do for the kids each year I had a mishap. the foot broke off my sewing maching so I braved it went on.. well I was about dont with the second project when I sewed my left thumb.. it was painfully hysterical.. I both laughed and cried.. if you have never acomplished this task I will explain what happend.. the sewing needle moves at rapid speed so by the time I noticed the error the needle had struck twice.. the first one went thru, broke, then the second one broke and the third peice of needle was in the machine.. waiting for me to be brave enough to put my thumb back down there.. it wasnt too bad .I did have to use pliers to pull the pieces out.. all my fingertips hurt, but doing good enough now I can type.
the kids, and my boss, LOVE this song
what an adorable song and and even more adorable little girl
and just becasue she is adorable
