Food Storage & Stupid Crows

I am working on building up my food storage again.. we have pretty much lived off what we had the past month.. I love it.. What a great feeling to not only have to worry about having to go to the store, but to know the food was purchased at bargain prices.. a friend of mine and I are hitting some bargain stores this weekend.. all new to me.. so excited!

We started our garden.. now to keep the crows out LOL. The scarecrow has worked pretty good, But we have a few bratty ones.. Lots of veggies growing.. some melons and pumpkins as well. I will learn how to can this summer..

I have also been scoping out yardsales.. haven't stopped at any yet :) .. thats what I get for not carrying cash on me LOL.. got to put $40 or so in a yardsale envelope and leave it in the car..

    This is Cora.

    I stopped at a yard sale last weekend and scored a bunch of great clothing items for Erik. I got a brand new, with out tags, Lands End fleece jacket. $3.50. Its so nice and warm and soft!

    Wow the garden is huge...Wish I had talked Greg into getting the garden done this year. Hope those crows sty away.

    Are there as many crows in Maine as there are here???? Nothing scares them!!
